9/22 Email: The past 72 hours have been a whirlwind. Our strong show of solidarity – and threat of a rally outside the Regents meeting – got the university to finally listen to nurses. We are proud to have reached a tentative agreement that includes enforceable workload ratios, an end to mandatory overtime and competitive wage increases.
The choice on whether to ratify this agreement is one that you - the members - make together. Your elected bargaining team unanimously recommends approval of this agreement.
We will be holding membership meetings for our contract ratification vote at the below days and times. You can also see this information by going to mna-umpnc.org/votetimes.

Members are welcome to attend any and all sessions, though you may only vote at one. The ballots will be counted immediately following the 7:45pm meeting on October 1 in the Ford Amphitheater. Only members in good standing are eligible to vote. If you are not yet a member, you can join by going to minurses.org/join. Members are welcome to observe the count.
Your elected bargaining team will be at these meetings to go over the details of the tentative agreement and to answer any questions you might have.
Hard copies of the tentative agreements will be available at the meetings. They will also be posted online on MemberLink for members on Wednesday, September 28th following the 7:45am meeting. We are working as fast as we can to compile the needed materials in time for the meetings. We ask for your patience as we work to put together complete, accurate, and comprehensive information about the lengthy tentative agreement.
